The School of Communication Studies at Missouri State University is comprised of two academic departments: the Department of Communication and the Department of Media, Journalism and Film.
The Department of Communication houses all B.S. and B.A. degrees in communication, public relations, socio-political, and speech & theatre education. The Masters in Communication program is also housed in this department, along with the forensics program. The main office for the Department of Communication is located in Craig Hall, room 375.
The Department of Media, Journalism, and Film contains all B.S. and B.A. degrees in broadcast and print journalism, mass media, and film (minor only). The department is also home to the interdisciplinary Electronic Arts Program, as well as the campus student newspaper, and a web-based radio station. The main office for the Department of Media, Journalism and Film is located in Craig Hall, room 370.
